Invite collectors

You can invite connections to follow your Space on CollectionStation. Invitations help collectors discover your Space and see its updates in their feed.

Invites must be sent while you are signed in as your personal collector profile, not while you are representing the Space.

Invite collectors during Space setup

When you create a Space, CollectionStation includes an invite step in the setup wizard:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation as your personal profile.
2. Finish the earlier create steps until you reach Invite people to your Space.
3. Click Invite Connections.
4. Select the connections you want to invite. You can search by name or filter by group membership.
5. Click Send Invites, or click Continue to skip this step.

You can send invitations to up to 25 connections at a time.

Invite collectors to follow your Space

To invite connections after your Space is already set up:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. If you are representing your Space, switch back to your personal profile:

• Open the Switch Space or Profile control at the top of the screen.
• Select Switch profile, then choose your collector account.

1. Go to the Space you want to share.
2. Click … below the Space cover image and select Invite connections.
3. Select the connections you want to invite.
4. Click Send Invites.

You will still be acting as your personal profile when you send invitations.

When someone receives a Space invitation

Invited collectors receive an email from CollectionStation with:

• Your Space name
• Your name as the inviter
• A link to open the Space

They can follow your Space from the link or from the Space page.

If you cannot send invitations

You may not be able to invite collectors when:

• You are not signed in.
• You are representing a Space instead of your personal profile.
• You have no connections yet — see Adding connections.
• The collector is already following your Space or already has a pending invitation.
• You selected more than 25 connections in one batch.
